ESPN’s FPI gives them a pretty strong chance of remaining undefeated this weekend.Although Texas has the talent to keep pace with Oklahoma, the feeling is that Jalen Hurts and Lincoln Riley will be too much for Tom Herman to handle. It appears Meyer agrees with that narrative. He’s picking Oklahoma to win by a touchdown against Texas. Urban says 42-35 Oklahoma. So it is written, so it is done.— Kyle Lamb (@kylamb8) October 12, 2019Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart also picked the Sooners to win this year’s Red River Showdown. Brady Quinn decided to pick the Longhorns, which had the fans in attendance very excited.Oklahoma and Texas were issued warnings before kickoff due to a pregame scuffle. Every player on the field received an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty because of what took place during warm-ups.Similar to years past, the likelihood is that an offensive shootout will break out at the Cotton Bowl. The game is already underway so we’ll find out in the next few hours if Meyer’s prediction was accurate.Do you think Oklahoma will emerge victorious over Texas this afternoon?last_img read more
