first_imgAn Independent county councillor is calling on the people of Donegal to support a 24 hour protest outside the offices of Junior Minister Joe McHugh.Minister Joe McHughCan’t Pat Won’t Pay spokesman Micheal Mac Giolla Easbbuig said the protest will start at noon this Friday and continue until the following day.He said the Minister needs to come out and support a motion to abolish water charges which was supported by his own party at county council level in Donegal. Cllr Mac Giolla Easbuig said “The Minister needs to make his position clear and allow the people of Donegal to see where he stands on this issue.“He needs to come out and support the people who elected him.“By not doing that there will be more pressure on him retaining his seat.
